THE INDIAN ACT

I found out about this trio of rappers from the CBC show the 8th fire. I thought it would be interesting to hear their opinion on the Indian Act. I couldn’t find an e-mail for them from winnipeg, so I messaged their facebook page. I started out by saying `Hello Jon-C, Charlie Fettah, and Brooklyn...’ They replied a couple of hours later saying that unfortunately Brooklyn has passed away! This is probably the most awkward introduction ever. Anyways, Jon-C said he would answer the questions (Charlie Fettah is not aboriginal).

 

I didn't get any response after that (hopefully they weren't too offended).
