WAB KINEW

I first found Wab Kinew as the show host of the CBC television series 8th fire. The 8th fire was a documentary that I really enjoyed watching. It felt like it was a very professional version of what I wanted to do. It was all about getting to know various Aboriginal people living in the city. I e-mailed many of the artists that they interviewd in the show.
Anyways, I did some more research on Wab Kinew, and found out that he is an author as well. I put a hold on his new book the reason you walk from the library. I was number 162 (on 29 copies) in line. It made me realize he must be a pretty popular and well known author. From the exercepts he has on his website, it looks pretty interesting. Here is a quote: "To be hurt, yet forgive. To do wrong, but forgive yourself. To depart from this world leaving only love, this is the reason you walk."
He never responded to my questions, and the book never came in.
